Based on the belief in a “scientific dream” that through communication via computer, the world could be changed, Tarasoft launched the “Korea Portal Service” thanks to the expansion policy of high-speed networks implemented in 1994, making it easier for everyone to access the Internet.

Focus on research and development

With the expansion of high-speed internet infrastructure and the advancement of internet and digital technologies, numerous services emerge and disappear. TARASOFT, recognizing that while internet and digital technologies appear to fulfill personal needs, they are increasingly centralized in reality, founded ‘Irium Co.,Ltd. (Research Institute)’ in 2006 to seek solutions. As a result, in October 2008, the paper “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” was published.

Towards a single goal

TARASOFT, based on the belief that ‘The world changes, Just as we think’ has embarked on a journey of exploring and discarding numerous methods and models to propose a new paradigm of the digital age, connecting reality and virtuality from practical and humanistic perspectives. After navigating through a long journey in the maze with no apparent exit, we gained the conviction that we can achieve our goal by connecting blockchain with the real economy. We have banked on this direction.

Breaking through the shell and beyond

Over the course of more than a decade, combining numerous trials and errors along with the technologies and concepts gained, we officially launched the ‘TARACOIN Project’ in 2020. Alongside this, we changed our name to ‘TARASOFT’, paving the way to begin blockchain services in earnest.

From COIN to CHAIN

TARACHAIN is built upon the fundamental blockchain system of MAINNET and COIN, utilizing smart contracts to interconnect various communities and expand the network, forming organic relationships. Through TARACHAIN, anyone can freely create blockchain projects and seize opportunities to establish and connect new networks.
